“For God so Loved. . . .” John 3:16

This is the way it begins. From the beginning of time,
Father God has chosen us - chosen us for a life of
relationship with him. And from that time on, he has
been inviting us to his table of extravagance!

Adam and Eve, created in God’s image, chose to
disobey him and thus separate themselves from his
perfect love. So, man and woman sought to find their
way back to God by observing his law. This list of
righteous acts never freed them to a life with Father God.

Finally, Father God sent us a Savior, his own flesh, Jesus
Christ. Jesus came to earth and through his death and
resurrection from the grave bought us our freedom and
provided an eternal way back.

It is through Jesus that we have been saved and given the
gift of grace - a pardon from what we deserved and a
wealth we could not have earned. Our sins have been
forgiven and forgotten. We are free to walk in faith and
free to accept his pursuit. He longs for our love and
desires our choice. Father God’s story is one of powerful
creation, awesome miracles, focused attention, but most
importantly, desperate love.

Do you know his love?
Will you accept his love today?

If you don’t truly know this unbridled love and life of
freedom, ask him to show you – victory and eternal
living in the midst of your every day!

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone
who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who
knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8

Believe that he has fought for you through the death and
resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and
believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

Confess that you can’t do it without him and need his help.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will
forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
1 John 1:9

His table of extravagance is a rich gift of
“life that is truly life.” 1 Timothy 6:19
